Where to start? I guess check-in is as good a place as any! Booked through the company I work for as we have VIP clients who need deluxe accomodations and we 'supposedly' get discounts, but this time, no discount. As a first time visitor, it will most certainly be the last. We decided to pack up our things and leave at 2am due feeling so uncomfortable due to staff. THEY REPEATEDLY TOLD MY BOYFRIEND “I DON’T WANT TO HEAR ANOTHER WORD FROM YOU” when trying to explain what happened earlier. I HAVE NEVER CAME ACROSS STAFF SO CONDESCENDING. AT TWO IN THE MORNING THREE SUITED MEN WERE BANGING ON OUR DOOR TELLING US TO GET OUT. Once we were finally let in at 11:30 we COULD NOT LEAVE THE ROOM OR ELSE WE WERE LOCKED OUT AND HAD TO GET A MANAGER. The manager said their computer system was down, and he locked it cus he thought it wasn’t occupied.
Gave my name and ID then received room keys without hesitation! Left for the pistons game at 6:30, came back at 10:30 and we were LOCKED out of our room. When first checking in at 5pm, no issues whatsoever. Completely unacceptable especially at 2am. I would be fired from my job immediately if i was EVER caught talking to a guest like that. I have literally never come across such incompetent and rude.
